Dr. Nakamura crafts natural-looking veneers, whitening treatments and smile makeovers with an artist's eye for proportion and light.
Dr. Ivy Nakamura came to dentistry from a background in fine art, and it shows. Her veneer work is known for its restraint: correct proportion, believable translucency, and surface texture that catches light the way enamel actually does rather than the flat opacity of a rushed case.
She works almost exclusively in a wax-up-first workflow. Patients see and wear a trial smile in their own mouth before a single tooth is prepared, which means the design conversation happens while everything is still reversible.
Her practice is heavily weighted toward minimal-preparation veneers and conservative bonding, preserving as much natural tooth structure as the case allows.
